What makes you different from all the
other hosts out there?
Personal Service. We treat all our customers individually, because
they are all different. We care so much about the quality of our
service that we don't think you'll find anywhere better, and to
date none of our customers have ever taken their web site to another
host.
What 'control' does the control panel
give me?
Our Helm control panel gives you direct secure administration access
into our system. You can add email addresses, change passwords,
add domains, etc, instantly. It also gives you access to site statistics
and billing infomation.
I don't understand all this 'control panel'
business. Can't you just host my web site?
Certainly. We give you access to your hosting services so that you
have complete control. Many of our customers enjoy that freedom,
and other pass the facility on to their web developers. What it
means for you though is that you will never lose control of your
web site.
What if my requirements change?
No problem. You are never locked into any hosting package. Not only
will we upgrade a package if required, we will tailor one t meet
your precise requirements if none of our pre-defined packages are
suitable.
I can't afford for my web site to go down
while I move my site.
It won't. You duplicate your site on our server, then change the
DNS settings on your domain. The hange will be seamless. Moving
to us will not make your site go down, even for a minute.
What's ASP, PHP and CGI? Do I need these?
You may or may not, but they are there to use if you want them.
They are scripting languages which open up powerful possibilities
to have dynamic content on your web sites. For example, pages can
be edited through a scripted page live on the web, or you can serve
the contents of a database through a site in many different ways.
